SMWC: Infrastructure Upgrades Coming through Water Savings Commodity Program

On October 31st, the Sutter Mutual Water Company signed a grant agreement with the USDA for $15 million. This is a no-cost share grant, which means there is no district match for the dollars awarded. The funds from the Water Savings Commodity Program will be used to update and modernize exiting facilities, such as the Tisdale Pumping Plant, and other water reuse facilities. Sutter Mutual Water Company was one of four water districts in California selected for the funding.
