SMWC: Water Savings Funding Coming to Sutter Mutual

We recently learned Sutter Mutual Water Company has been selected as one of four water districts in California that is eligible to participate in the USDA’s Water Savings Commodity Program. The district will be eligible for roughly $15-million for using or developing innovative water savings technologies and farming practices, while producing water-saving commodities in the face of continued drought.
