Employee Spotlight: Armando Galaz

Our Employee Spotlight this quarter is Armando Galaz, who serves as our Water Master. Having worked in the Sutter Basin for more than three decades, he has a wealth of knowledge that he shares with our newer staff members.  

When Armando isn’t busy delivering water to our landowners in the district, he is traveling to his property in New Mexico, getting it ready for retirement. In Armando’s free time, he enjoys hunting and spending time with his kids and grandchildren. During Armando’s tenure at BIDA, he has developed a great relationship with many of the employees, growers and vendors.
